City of Sylvania
Sylvania's downtown is the home of masonry buildings that reflect the small town architecture of the 1920s and 1930s.
Some of the year-round festivals held in Sylvania include the Annual Livestock Festival in April and the Annual Air Exposition held in late September through early October.
According to 2000 Census, the City of Sylvania had a population of 2,675 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population decrease of -6.8%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
